Netly

Privacy

Last updated 2026-08-20. This notice describes Netly during its waitlist period.

What we collect

Your sign-in identity (email and name) through Clerk. Balances, holdings and transactions from the accounts you connect. Property addresses you add, for valuation. Settings you choose, such as budgets, categories and which notifications you want.

If you join the waitlist, we keep the email address you give us until you are invited or you ask us to remove it.

Where it comes from and who handles it

Bank, card and brokerage data arrives through Plaid, under Plaid's own privacy terms. Exchange data comes from read-only API keys you create at Kraken or Coinbase. Wallet data comes from public blockchain records for the public keys you add. Property values come from RentCast. Your data is stored in Convex and the app runs on Vercel. Emails are sent through Resend. Sign-in is handled by Clerk.

Credentials for exchanges are encrypted before they are stored. Netly never receives your bank passwords; Plaid handles that connection.

The assistant

Ask Netly sends a fact sheet built from your ledger (totals, categories, account names and balances, income sources) to a language model through OpenRouter to compose an answer. It never sends account numbers, credentials or tokens. Conversations are stored so you can return to them and are visible only to the person who asked, within the household they asked about.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not use your financial data to train models. We do not move money; every connection is read-only.

Your choices

You can disconnect any account, remove a wallet or property, or ask us to delete your data at any time. Deleting a connection removes its accounts and transactions from your ledger.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to count page views without cookies or personal identifiers.
